Architectural Design Manager

The role of the Architectural Design Manager is to oversee all design aspects related to projects in the Design department ensuring that everything is delivered on time and complies with the Ontario Building Code.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and tasks within projects 
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good relationship building skills
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to motivate others to improve their quality of work
  • Effective in employee management, workflow and delegation of tasks
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of advanced building practices 
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Proficient with MS Office, AutoCad, Revit, (or equivalent design software), Adobe Products and Project management software
  • A valid BCIN number or architectural license with qualification for preparing and producing construction drawings in the province of Ontario 
  • A valid driver's license
