Cabinetmaker

The role of a Cabinetmaker in the Millwork Shop is to manage all aspects of a custom millwork project.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years carpentry experience
  • Completion of High School and/or College, Vocational or Technical Training
  • Trade Certification
  • Safety certifications, valid and up-to-date, including: Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform and WHMIS (may be trained upon hire as needed)
  • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations 
  • A valid driver's license
  • Vehicle to get from home/shop to job site 
  • Thorough knowledge of construction materials, methods and tools for cabinet making
  • Ability to work with tools efficiently
  • Strong skills in mathematics
  • Team player
  • Effective communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Proficient in time management
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of personal integrity
